2. Services Offered
We provide automotive repair, maintenance, and inspection services. Any specific service requested will be detailed in your job quote or invoice. We reserve the right to decline work at our sole discretion.
3. Estimates and Quotes
- All pricing is in NZD and includes GST, unless otherwise stated.
- Quotes are valid for 14 days and are subject to change based on parts availability or unforeseen issues during service.
- If extra work is needed, we will seek your approval before proceeding.
4. Cancellations and No-Shows
- Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
- Failure to show up for an appointment without notice may incur a cancellation fee.
5. Consumer Guarantees
Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, you are entitled to:
- Services carried out with reasonable care and skill.
- Services fit for the purpose discussed.
- Work completed within a reasonable time.
If there’s an issue with our work, please contact us as soon as possible. We will assess the situation and, where appropriate, offer a remedy such as repair, rework, or a refund.
6. Warranties
- Parts installed may carry a manufacturer’s warranty, which will vary depending on the part supplier.
- Parts and workmanship is warranted for 12 months, unless otherwise agreed.
- Warranties may be voided if parts are tampered with or installed incorrectly by another party after our service.
7. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for:
- Any indirect or consequential loss or damage.
- Customer-supplied parts that fail or cause damage.
- Any vehicle faults not directly related to the work we have carried out.
Always consult with us before undertaking your own diagnostics or modifications after a service.
8. Customer Responsibilities
- Notify us of any known issues prior to service.
- Collect your vehicle within a reasonable time after service is complete.
- Uncollected vehicles may incur storage fees after 5 business days.
9. Privacy
We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020. We only collect necessary information to provide our services and do not sell or share your information with third parties without consent, unless required by law.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated date.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
